Make a note in red letters in your new diary for March 16th. In our first major concert of 2019, Concordia will be performing four remarkable pieces which span nearly five hundred years of choral composition. From the 15th century comes the Elizabethan Lamentations. From the 18th, we offer Antonio Lotti’s sublime Crucifixus. And from the 20th, two memorable works by John Rutter, Hymn To The Creator Of Light and the highly popular Requiem. This programme marks an exciting start to another year of fine music-making from one of south London’s most prestigious choirs. We hope you’ll come along to enjoy it.
The performance is at 7.30 pm on Saturday, 16th March at All Saints’ Church, Lovelace Rd, SE21 8JY. Tickets cost £14 at the door, or £13 in advance from www.concordiachamberchoir.co.uk. Concessions (students and those on means tested benefits) half price. Remember that feeling you get coming home from an amazing concert? Make a note in your diary now!
